Walnut wood is hard, heavy, and resilient, capable of resisting warping and suffering very little shrinkage. The grain is irregular but typically straight with a medium texture.

Impossible to describe but if feel is your priority, or in the top 3, this grip is a must. Price is VERY reasonable, especially the choice of woods and personalization at the same cost. Have this on my mallet and oak on the blade. Why you didn't buy it sooner will be the only regret, must have.
